HHS Web Site Testimonial                       By: Bud and Norma (Woellhart) Martin - May 18, 2010
First of all, I'll confirm that I received the postcard regarding the reunion. My husband Bud and I hope to attend. Since my mom died in 1996, our trips to ABQ have been few and far between; it's time for a visit! ... and it will be great to see so many of our classmates again!!  I wanted to send you this "testimonial" as to how great your web site is. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, "Thanks for the GREAT job you do!!" You may share it on the website if you wish. Anyway.... I wanted to send you this "testimonial" as to how great your web site is. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, "Thanks for the GREAT job you do!!" You may share it on the website if you wish.
Anyway... Last fall I noticed on the web site that Marjorie Moore Shaefer (AKA Mother Goose) and her husband had come from Michigan to Johnson City, TN, so she could work on her graduate degree in Storytelling at East Tennessee State University. They liked the area so much that they bought a house and moved here. Bud and I moved to the same area back in 2006. So...using her e-mail address from the web site, I contacted her and we met for lunch. We had a great time catching up on the last 50 years! Earlier this month (May 2010), I invited her to share her storytelling skills as the program for a meeting of our boating club; and we enjoyed her telling some Great Lakes lighthouse and shipwreck tales! She did a great job! I'm attaching a photo taken that night. (Marjorie on the left and me on the right.) If it weren't for your website, who knows how long we would have lived within 20 miles or so and never known it! Thank you!

What 50 years can do to a pretty face By Bill Redak 4/24/2010
A few of the people in these photos (I'm not saying which) asked that I send these photos to be posted on our HHS Class of 1960 Website.  Stan's mother probably took the black and white photo.  I've had it stored in a shoe box for 50 years.  I arranged to take the color photo at the Frontier Restaurant on Central in Nov, 2009.
