Storyteller and Story Author: As a child, Marjorie learned the art of storytelling from her tall-tale Texan grandfather. Since that time, she has practiced and perfected her craft and has spun stories for: The Detroit Festival of the Arts Wild Blueberry Festival in Paradise, Michigan Michigan Reading Association Workshops Youth Group retreats National, church, and school events and directed the Michigan Renaissance Storyfest at Wayne State University in Detroit Marjorie creates her stories based on solid research, colorful legend and a fanciful imagination. Her most recent story is “Mary Magdalene: Her Walk with Jesus” (See more examples of stories available in “Story Sampler” below.) |
