HHS Class of 60--message from the Prez

First of all, the reason for the delay in writing so long after the reunion is that I first had to impose upon Bill Redak to prepare and send me a list with your email addresses. Since Bill's info, by necessity, contained ALL of the rest of the contact info for each of you, I had to extract your email addresses from the complete mailing list–a bit tedious but worth it! And thanks Bill.

From the inception of our class, there has always been a group step forward to help perform the task at hand, from all our senior projects at HHS to all of our class reunions. For this last reunion, it was Carole Thelin Bonda taking the helm and
Carolyn Calvert Clark, Donna Dalby Ness, Kay Hunt, Marilyn Sasser, Bill Winkler, Bob Singer, Joyce Parr, Donna McNabb McBroom, Judy Jenkins Boyd and Mary Margaret Mead volunteering to help (and if I omitted anyone, I apologize).

Bill Redak, Pat Hauser and Jerry Woodard once again performed their magic, and Jerry, in spite of some rather large obstacles.

Thanks also to Lou LaGrave for the great letter.

Throughout, LARRY WILLIAMS has worked from the wings without recognition. Larry has been the guardian of our funds since our first reunion. He has kept track of every cent we took in and every cent we spent. He has also been a guiding voice in how to best utilize the funds. Larry, a bit belated, but here's a heartfelt THANKS for all your efforts.

And thanks also to each of you for making it to this last reunion, for reliving the great memories, and for rekindling the great friendships. We are truly a unique group, and each of us is very fortunate to be a part. I can only wish for all of us that we can be together again at our 50th. Rest assured yet another wonderful group from our ranks will make sure it happens. In the mean time,

Best regards, and

GO HORNETS
